Here are our West Didsbury & Chorlton Players of the Month for April.
Both our U7 Emperors and U7 Black Cats won their MYSL cup finals. What a great achievement!
Our Women’s First Team played in the Lancashire Women’s Cup Final at the Lancashire County Ground against Burnley. West took the lead but then suffered defeat against a strong Burnley side. Everyone at West is proud of how far you got in the tournament.
We said goodbye and good luck to our U18 Lions, U18 Magpies and U16 Wanderers. Good luck with the next steps in your football journey.
Our Men’s First Team showed their support for the Corinthians Ladies in our home match against Wythenshawe Town, wearing a one-off shirt and raising money for their upcoming documentary.
Many of our teams still have a lot to play for in May: Our U14 Lionesses play in the County Cup Final on 11th May at Avro stadium.
Our U12 Orcas are in a playoff on 12th May to become Timperley League Champions.
Our U9 Zebras have reached the final of the Spring Cup and are looking forward to playing the final on 12th May.
